About Dan

My name is Daniel Shulman. I am a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and completed my coursework in three years with a 3.60 GPA. When I’m not at work, I’m probably watching sports. As a New Englander, sports is a lifestyle.

I currently work as a Communications Coordinator with the New England Revolution. Serving as the media contact for a pioneering Major League Soccer club, my primary responsibilities include facilitating interview requests for players and coaches, crafting game notes, press releases, and other media materials to distribute to local press, updating and maintaining the club’s media website, and serve as the club media liaison at home games by managing the press box and credential requests. I previously held the title of Communications Associate for the Revolution, working primarily with Revolution II and the Revolution Academy teams, prior to earning a promotion in August 2021.

My past experiences include working as a Sports Correspondent with the Boston Globe, on-air talent for Boston Neighborhood Network, and a Freelance Statistician for MJN Production. I have also contributed to various blogs for Heavy.com, SB Nation, FanSided, and Inside Hockey. During my time at BU, I served as Managing Editor and Hockey Reporter for WTBU Radio and wrote a column for the Daily Free Press. I also held internships with SB Nation, WEEI, ABC’s Boston affiliate WCVB-TV, and Rhode Island Reds FC.

My favorite sport to watch is soccer. I am a former season ticket holder with the New England Revolution and was once a member of the team’s official supporters group prior to joining the front office. Sports is a passion and I hope to be able to mold it into my career. As a media relations professional with a journalism background, I have had numerous pieces published in print.
